ProfileDavid Snead is a seasoned Internet advocate. He is the co-founder, board chair and chair of the policy working group of the Internet Infrastructure Coalition (I2C) an industry trade group formed in 2012. As policy chair, he has responsibility for the I2C’s policy portfolio including patents, privacy, national security, Internet governance and trade, and enhancing cooperation in Internet governance. The Internet Infrastructure Coalition supports those who build the Internet. The group believes the continued growth of the Internet is vital for growing an environment of innovation and seeks to engage in ways to foster success of the Internet and Internet infrastructure industry. Mr. Snead is also General Counsel of cPanel, the largest web hosting automation platform. He received his J.D. in 1991 from Georgetown University Law Center, his B.A. in 1987 in International Affairs from Trinity University. He is a member of the bars of the District of Columbia and State of New Mexico.
