  • Room: Petree Hall D
  • Session Number:  KEY2:

Description

The development of new cloud services is moving at an astounding rate.  The services at the heart of cloud innovation today such as Big Data or AI weren’t possible just a short time ago.  The emergence of hyperscale cloud computing has helped enable these innovations; and for those of us who design the hardware that runs the cloud, we need to embrace a development model that can be just as flexible and move just as fast.  During this session, the speaker will share the experiences with open hardware development that have led to Project Olympus - a new model to develop hardware at cloud speed.
