Description

Akbank, which is one of the major banks in Turkey, has been using its current data center for the last 23 years. There is a need to build a new data center: plan, design, build and migrate. The planning and the design phases have been completed. The data center has been designed foreseeing the needs of the next 10 years and the design has been done accordingly. Our presentation will review how the design process has been done with our consultants starting from the requirements, to the concept and the detailed design. How the major decisions about the design has been taken; minimizing the risk of managing the data center, foreseeing the needs of future and optimizing the capital and operational costs will be discussed.
