Student Inclusion Program: Introduction to the Industry

Not only is the data center seeing an aging global demographic, there is also an increase in demand for personnel. AFCOM and Data Center World are taking action to help this issue and plan for the future by introducing the industry to college students and individuals interested in STEM topics. This session will welcome local area college students to the industry and the event. Immediately following this panel introduction, students will be given a tour of the Data Center World and HostingCon exhibit halls to talk to industry leaders and vendors.    

Session SS1: 9:15-10:15am
Break: 10:15-11:00am
Exhibit Hall Escort: 11:00-12:00pm
Betagig Intro & Resume Workshop: 12:30-1:30pm

Attendees are responsible for their own transportation, parking and lunch. Los Angeles Convention Center - West Parking Garage: $15 (no in/out privileges).
This program is open to college students 18y+.

We are looking for exhibitors from both Data Center World and HostingCon to be in your booth starting at 11:00amPT on April 6th (1 hour before the hall opens to attendees) to discuss what your business does and highlights about the industry you would like to share with our college guests interested in a data center/hosting industry career.
